You Were Working As A Waitress ?

Perhaps this is a little too obvious. Dunno. Something to do on a Sunday afternoon. By request, two very slightly different versions to chose from. Quite a lot of editing going on actually, but I hope it's not too noticable.

Oh ... and apparently I've got over 1,000 friends now over on myspace.

Is It Worth It ?

This was something that came to me a little while ago, but I didn't bother making it until recently as I had a difficulty ... the backing track (ironically enough a reworking in itself by Chad Jackson of the 45 King's "900 Number") had already been used on one of the "classic" bootlegs (props to Churchill) many years ago. Pow Will Eat Itself though ... it's no accident then there are direct references within this poptastic mash ...

The Needle And The Damage Dun

Sometimes there are records that sound good at either 33 rpm or 45 rpm (remember "Casual Sub" ?). This track has a similar effect - The Whip's wonderful "Divebomb" and DJ Dan's excellent "Needle Damage" (Chris Ortega and Thomas Gold remix) get edited together here to make up Bomb Damage. I can't make my mind up on this - today I'm erring towards 110 bpm, tomorrow it may be 130 bpm ...

Let's Get This Party Started

Always a pleasure when something like this turns up ...

Big shout out to the creator, Mistah Pok: top job well done, and an unexpected pleasure.

T Breaks

Off to Scotland's annual beer fest that is T In The Park this weekend. A very quick post for a couple of tracks first though. CSS are playing ... erm, but not like this.

And just so you don't think I'm going pop on yo' ass, here's an extract from the (fairly) recent Black Thursday mix, which I've rather imaginatively decided to entitle "Streetboot": it's MSTRKRFT's erm, masterful "Street Justice 07", mixed up with Trabant's "The One" (Para One Remix). Probably the most cut up and restructed track I've ever done actually, and more DJ friendly than the version in Black Thursday (still available at Gary Rowe's Mini Black Site).

Pray for the sun for me ....
